| A police officer who came upon a 8-year-old girl buried in a Florida landfill said "hopelessness turned to hope" when a fellow officer saw a finger move. "Everybody jumped in and started taking the rocks off her," Sgt. Mike Hall recalled today, a day after police found the girl buried under boulders in a trash container's recycling bin in Lake Worth, south of West Palm Beach. |
