Portugal's attorney general has told police to halt the probe into the disappearance of British girl Madeleine McCann. Her parents were named as suspects, but there was no evidence they had committed any crime, officials said. Despite a huge investigation and massive media coverage, there has been no sign of the girl since she was last seen at a vacation apartment days before her fourth birthday.
