Former Iraqi Vice President Taha Yassin Ramadan was hanged at dawn Tuesday, according to a source close to Iraq's High Tribunal. Ramadan was Saddam Hussein's vice president when the regime was ousted in 2003. The court sentenced Ramadan to death by hanging for his role in the killing of 148 men and boys in Dujail, Iraq, after a failed assassination attempt on Hussein.
