The FBI is investigating as a possible hate crime an incident in which a woman was beaten to the ground in front of her child at the entrance to a Cracker Barrel restaurant in Georgia. Army reservist Tashawnea Hill told police that Troy Dale West Jr. yelled racial epithets at her as the incident took place. Cracker Barrel says it's cooperating in the police investigation.
