At least 18 people were killed today during clashes between pro-government supporters and opposition party members in the southern Pakistani city of Karachi, police and intelligence sources said. Many of those killed were supporters of deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry, who had gathered to rally as he arrived in the city earlier in the day, police said.
