A search is under way for the crews of two U.S. Marine F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets that were lost Monday while flying in support of the war in Iraq, the U.S. military said. The statement did not say if the planes were over land or sea when they lost contact with the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier. Navy officials believe the two jets may have collided in bad weather.
