Two Israeli missiles struck targets in the center of Gaza City early Monday, hours after Israel said it would step up its military operations until a young captured soldier is released. CNN correspondent John Vause says he saw a single missile fly past where his news crew was based on a roof. The missile slammed into a nearby building, he said. A few minutes later, while Vause was reporting live on CNN International, a second missile was heard exploding.
